
This winter, Fields of Growth had the pleasure of having Rob Pannell join us for a week in Uganda to help prepare the Uganda Lacrosse Union. Additionally, on his trip, Rob got to experience the joyful youth in the Pearl of Africa.
Day 1 – Monday December 3, 21012 – After a day of traveling, follow Rob as he reflects on his first experiences in Uganda including the Sanyu Babies Home and his first ULU practice.
Day 2 – Tuesday December 4, 2012 – During his second day in Uganda, Rob journeyed to Kkindu village to spend time with the children at the HOPEFUL School.
Day 3 – Wednesday December 5, 2012 – Join Rob on his eye-opening experience in Kkindu, witnessing the joy of these individuals that live on so few material possessions.
Day 4 – Thursday December 6, 2012 – Today, Rob and his fellow companions worked hand-in-hand with the people of Kkindu to help build permanent structures at the HOPEFUL School.
Day 5 – Friday December 7, 2012 – As with all of our trips, we are heavily invested in the educational experience. Today, Rob joined staff at the Uganda Martyrs Shrine to learn about the religious history of Uganda before heading back to the pitch for a final practice with the ULU.
