Fields of Growth spearheaded the creation of the Uganda Lacrosse Union (ULU), and assists in it’s development, however the ULU is a fully autonomous organization. The ULU serves as the governing body of lacrosse in Uganda and oversees the development of men’s and women’s lacrosse in Uganda. Uganda is a recognized associate member of the Federation of International Lacrosse.
The Uganda Cranes pride themselves on playing the game with an unrivaled passion and spirit, they play the game year round. The winter and spring consists of the official Uganda Lacrosse League. In the fall the players meet on their own for training sessions. The ULU hopes to launch a fall 7v7 league in the near future.
