What do you believe in? What do you want out of life? Without action the dreams deep inside your heart are just ideas. Your life, like any other, is made up of actions. We all get to a point in life where the thinking and believing and deciding fall away and all that’s left is action… and Action is Character. 

Here at Fields of Growth we believe that when you have something you love with all your heart – that you are called to share it with others – many of us in the lacrosse community have been blessed with great families, friends, education and of course the game of lacrosse. The best way to describe the lacrosse community in one word is passionate. Our goal is to use our organization as a platform to harness that passion into positive social impact.  We challenge you to join our team and take action.

Join the HOPEFUL team:

Joining the HOPEFUL team puts you in a position to be an agent of change while supporting the work we do in Uganda and Jamaica. We have a catalog of age appropriate events you can organize to spread the word about Fields of Growth and help advance our cause. Visit the HOPEFUL team page for a full overview of events, from lacrosse clinics, car washes and road races  to bake sales and cocktail parties, we have an event that is right for you!

Additional way to get involved:

Internships: An emerging trend on colleges and campuses around the country is experiential learning. Most pre-professional majors now require a full semester internship. Fields of Growth is a great place for proactive, entrepreneurial interns to come and thrive. If you are a college student with an internship requirement we would love to talk with you.

Study Abroad: We have a partnership with SIT World Learning that enables us to place college students in our Uganda program for the fall semester, while earning college credit. Please visit our Study Abroad page for more information.

Travel with us: We have a serious need for coaches and teachers on the ground in Uganda and Jamaica. Our travel programs require you to join the HOPEFUL team and go through our Global Leadership Experience curriculum to ensure sustained interest and intellectual development.
