Individual Opportunities

There are many different ways that you can get involved with Fields of Growth.  You can do fundraisers to simply raise money for Fields of Growth or you can raise money to go towards certain projects that we have going.  Some of the projects that are currently in place in Uganda that are in need of support:

  • Sponsoring a Child – $250/year
  • Buy a cow – $75 each
  • Buy a goat – $50 each
  • Buy a dozen chicks – $45/dozen
You can also help raise funds for our permanent school structure at the HOPEFUL School.  Those are just a few of the ways that you can help make an impact in the village of Kkindu.

Here are some fundraising ideas for an individual:

  • Run a 5k
  • Bike 100 miles
  • Sell tshirts
  • Bake Sale
  • Can drive
  • Support letters & online donations
The Uganda Lacrosse Union is also always looking for more gear, so a great way to help with that is to do an equipment drive.  Collecting new or gently used lacrosse gear (men’s and women’s), shorts, shoes/cleats, and new mouth-guards.
